About us?
Happy Time Daycare programs are specifically designed for infants through two-year old.   Our nurturing and comfortable environment makes Happy Time the perfect place for children to play, laugh and discover. Our mission is to provide each child with a motivating environment that promotes social, emotional and spiritual growth, while fostering a love of learning in preparation for preschool and the world beyond.

Education?
Happy Time Daycare is licensed by the state of Iowa with programs featuring developmentally appropriate curriculum taught by highly trained and passionate teachers. We promise to provide children with a variety of experiences that will foster confidence and good self-image through interaction with the children and teachers all in a Christian environment.

Educators?
Our teachers just love teaching! A ratio of adults to children in attendance will be maintained to give maximum attention and supervision.  Our Director, Lori Moritz has both her early childhood and elementary education degree and has been a teacher and director of one of the largest daycare providers in our city.  She has been given several awards for her passionate pursuit of excellence in childcare, managed 24 employees and awarded the “Million Dollar Center” status, 2001-2004.  You can contact Lori at lori@htdaycare.com 515-987-2352

We understand the first five years of a child's life are the most formative so we’ve created a positive, supportive and highly interactive space for them. Toddlers
It's a whole new world...
Toddlers are simply amazing.  They get to their feet and begin to experience a whole new world.  They begin to walk, talk and develop relational skills.  And it’s at this time our program adapts and focuses on the importance of relational skills.  In the toddler program our teachers interact individually yet nurture each child toward to God-given uniqueness.

Two's
Can you say "sponge"?...
Two year olds are amazing learners. They are developing verbal skills and are growing in their unique personality.  This program emphasizes language development to help children turn their ideas into words and sentences. Our children will also have plenty of group activities to practice social skills, such as cooperation, sharing, and taking turns.
