Children

We believe the greatest influence in the life of a child is the influence of the parent.  For that reason, our family ministry wants to partner with you, the parent, to see this generation of children grow into godly young people with lasting faith and character.

Each week we  provide a welcoming environment in which children can know they are loved and cared for.  During a typical weekend service, your child will enjoy fun games, worship, a lesson about the monthly virtue, and most importantly, small group time with a caring leader.  Small group time is critical in helping your child know the next step to be more like Jesus, so we incorporate it into every service.

Our goal in children’s ministry is to help you become the ultimate influencer in your child’s life, as well as equip you for the spiritual conversations you will need to have to point your kids to Christ.

Graceland Ministries

Graceland believes in an intentional teaching strategy that is virtue-driven.  Every month, Graceland dives into a new virtue, which drives all of our teaching and activities for that month.

Birth up to age 3

For the youngest children, we want them to know that church is a safe and fun place where they are loved and cared for.  High security, low child to volunteer ratios, and wellness policies are in place to help make that happen.

Ages 3-5

Along with the monthly virtue, by the time children begin Kindergarten, we want them to know that:

  • God made me
  • God loves me
  • Jesus wants to be my friend forever

 

Grades K-5

Along with the monthly virtue, by the time children begin 6th grade, we want them to:

  • Trust God no matter what
  • Always make the wise choice
  • Treat others the way they want to be treated
